Small Strokes is my latest limited edition collection of the Southern Arizona "Simple Pleasures" line. Weither you are looking for the simplicity of life or the complex intricacies of art itself "Simple Pleasures" focuses on perspective, taking the mundane and examining the details to find what makes it beautiful, what makes it exist and why it matters. "Small Strokes" focuses on the details of Food, Friends, Nature, Indulgence and the Self, but the details do not just begin and end within the painting, as the all natual materials used for these pieces, organic cotton canvases & all natural non-toxic acrylic, make up the important parts of each piece as well.

From the niche art collector, the modernist who appreciates local artistry, or the planet friendly minimalist "Simple Pleasures" is carefully crafted with the eco-conscious consumer in mind. Minimal in appearance, material and style "Small Strokes" is a planet friendly practice in use of resources, how the details matter in saving on paint & material. Less is indeed more and in each piece you will see that come through. This line, focused on the everyday details, is also for everyday people who need a gift to make someone smile, a touch of aesthetic to their desk, home or an interesting piece to their art collection. 

If you are not a fan of the current collection we have now, just know that we always take commmissions. Part of each purchase goes towards the Southern Arizona MOCA  2022 summer program, to help fund young artists age 9-18.  MOCA has presented the work of nearly 250 artists and thinkers, 90% of them Tucsonans. By funding this upcoming program, we can inspire and encourage more artists outside of Tucson as well as the state of Arizona to contriuble their work to the Southwest and keep its artistice culture alive.
